Quick update - I am currently in ICU at Box Hill. Been in since Thursday. Turns out I had an infection of some kind and during my last chemo, I had started getting mild seizure like symptoms so was prompted to Emergency straight away and then to ICU not long after. White blood count practically zero and low blood pressure, so hard to walk and keep myself up. So now am in ICU till im fit enough to get to Oncology. Then its home time and proper recovery as Thursday was officially my last chemo!! YAY!! :D #NoMoreChemo #EverAgain :D I needed chemo when I did, but now I know there are other more effective options available. So while Im thankful for the treatment, I personally will not do it again. Have had antibiotics, lots of fluids etc. Family visits, including my sister who has flown down to see me (because Im awesome...I mean she is awesome :D ) - my chronic chemo fatigue is lifting, finally - and now I feel better than I ever have, for months. Even though Im in hospital. Its all in the brand new Box Hill hospital, so it feels more like a fancy hotel than some old scrappy run down hospital. Makes lot of difference! So yeah - looking forward to getting better than normal - I hope I never take strength, energy, power and mobility for granted ever again - these things and more I will cherish forever. Health is so important. So many take it for granted - I was like that. Its easy to get complacent and lazy. But not anymore. :D No more excuses :D So Yeah! Onwards and Upwards :D Cheers to LIFE :D
