Quick update: So I now have family here in Southern Arkansas... Ive been adopted as a grandson by a lady by the name of Miss Eloise (83 years young), great nephew to Miss Judy (79 years young), and the son she never had to Miss Pam (57 years young), and my friend Mr. Mark (60 years young). These are my friends... Most nights when I get home from work they see me get out of my truck, wave at me and tell me to come over. There is either a plate of food for me at the table or something on a plate to go. As I just got home this evening, Miss Eloise let me know that she is baking me one of her famous cakes this week just because she doesnt want me getting home sick. I sat on her porch swing last Friday night and we talked for about 45 minutes. Miss Pam has been amazing... She has been so sweet and has invited me to her church and always talks to me and asks me how I am. Mr. Mark is an excellent cook and has invited Britney and myself over for food or a drink multiple times... I say all of that to say this... God will put you where He wants you if you are willing to follow Him. These people He has placed in my life down here are amazing...I honestly dont know what I would do without them. It truly is the little things. The crazy part is they think they are blessed to know me when really they dont understand what a blessing they are to me... They have welcomed Britney right in too. Every day I wake up, whether I know its going to be a good or tough day, or when I lay my head on the pillow before I go to sleep, I am continuously humbled by the people He puts in my life. Who wouldve thought I would have family in far southern Arkansas. I wake up, make sure our guys are succeeding in class, get to coach our guys in practice and in the weight room, work on my Masters Degree, and not have a long distance relationship with my woman anymore but one where I get to walk by her in the gymnasium and just see her...
