Quick weight loss tip: If youve been dieting to lose weight, depending on the severity of the calorie deficit e.g your only eating 500 calories per day (which is horrible & you should never do that unless your at risk of serious diseases due to being overweight) Then you may be experiencing tiredness or sluggishness or lack of energy. Most likely due to 1. Lack of calories or 2. Lack of carbohydrates A lot of ladies especially try to cut out carbs altogether, this is a bad idea, the moment you cut carbs, you also cut your bodies ability to create and sustain fat burning & feel good hormones (leptin, serotonin, oxytocin etc) these hormones and the amount the body produces is directly related to the amount of calories coming in but even more so the amount of carbohydrate in the diet. So if you are one of those people who cut carbs altogether then you need to have whats called a re-feed day where you basically eat at a calorie maintenance level and make sure 50% of those calories are carbs. This will increase leptin levels and all those feel good hormones that you have been missing out on. And better still ease stop completely cutting carbs out of your diet, your body goes completely out of whack and your body loses hormone balance and youll find that youll end up with blood glucose swings which will also affect your moods and you can end up binge eating or emotionally eating/comfort eating and you jump on that yo yo diet round about and even end up with mental disorders (trust me Ive been there) But really the key should be balance & moderation, my meal plans are scientifically designed to take full advantage of these hormonal benefits and you dont even need a re-feed on my plans cause the carbohydrate amount is moderate as to keep those hormones flowing, thats why youll find people on my plans have a lot more energy, feel happy, feel full and feel satisfied all day, every day!
