Quickie report on todays Homecoming Open House... Big success! Total turnout of about 130, significantly bigger than what we were expecting. About 80 alums hung around for the pep rally, which was a blast! (WE WANT OXYGEN! WE WANT OXYGEN!) Four hundred seniors yelled pretty loud, but the ALUMNI beat em bad in Battle Cry! Class of 1969 led in numbers (although Class of 1970 still reigns as best-looking bunch!) Wonderful Hall of Honor reception, plenty of tears and laughs. Roy Castillo, Class of 1967, darn near stole the show with his tribute to Mrs. Sledge. (Hes emailing me the poem he wrote and we will post it here.) Sorry about the name badges. A late-morning sprinkle wrecked most of them, but we took the check-in inside and folks wrote their own badges. The event has really entrenched itself as a school tradition, a delightful experience for students, staff and, of course US OLD TROJANS! Many photos will be posted. Your thoughts?
