Quiet day for me today. Fridays are a big day for me medication wise-I start the day with 11 and a half tablets-which generally has me feeling a bit better by days end-but it takes me a while to get them all down in the morning. With a new slow release pain patch on Thursdays I am on a bit of a high by Friday night-wheee! This could be why I decided to get worming tablets down the gobs of the three cats. Just as well I put aside an extended period of time for this-was I mad??? Did okay with the exotics-Lara the Chinchilla, and Smut the colourpoint, but Shiva the Tabby was a different kettle of fish. He swore. He spat. He scratched. He held the friggin tablet in his mouth, and spat it out just when I thought success was achieved. When I finally got it down his gob-he foamed at the mouth! Decided to wait a bit before ringing vet in panic-and he did settle. He appears fine now. I, on the other hand, am a Nervous Wreck.
