Quiet weather reigns supreme right now...with that said, some of us in the Catskills, mid Hudson valley, Berkshire and Litchfield counties will get some flurries and snow showers tonight into tomorrow AM, with some flurries into the Capital Region and VT towards morning possible...nothing that will amount to more than a coating to 1/2, spotty at best. Mid teens tonight, then near 30 both tomorrow and Friday with varying amounts of clouds and sun. A large storm will pass south of us Saturday into Sat. night and may scrape the region with some snow...storm track will be critical with this one with light snow possible from especially the Capital Region and southern VT on south...some potential for several inches of snow in the E. Catskills, mid Hudson valley, Berkshire and Litchfield counties, but too far out for finer detail. Its a watcher for sure as it will be originating down in the Gulf and coming up, which means lots of moisture. A further west and north track than my assumption now would be a much bigger deal for us in terms of snow...so again its a watcher, but my lean is for more of an offshore passage and just a brush at this time.
