#QuirkyGratitude What an awesome day! I love Bunnings! My local Bunnings seems to know vaguely that I am into gardening. ROFL - it has been hard to miss the past two weeks. My back courtyard is coming along beautifully and my dreams are being realised. The patio will go up in about ten days. Today - it has all been about my lizard house. I have acquired : a base (recycled a cedar timber rack from the bathroom) walls (two pieces of mesh, cut to fit and to be wired together around a base that is 60cm x 40cm) plants (small, native, good for birds and lizards) paperbark (for creating nesting and resting places) black stones (for making hot spots where my lizards can warm themselves) My sense of quirky gratitude is for the Bunnings staff - who have helped me in so many ways with suggestions and advice. Especially for the box of odd timber pieces from a broken firewood bag - supplied at a discount and with well wishes for the skinks. The frame will be filled with a few other items - broken pottery, some gum leaves and a couple of pieces of hidden pipe. Lizard heaven!
