Quite a strangely pleasing kind of pagan day today. Out of the house and off with the bike at 08:43 with the dawn of the shortest day (although the difference between not quite dawn and dawn was difficult to see). Then sea swimming at Portobello with the super people who are The Wild Ones (with a wetsuit - Im maybe not pagan enough).
