Quite disappointing result today - only draw with white against English IM elo 2310 Nigel Povah in the Surrey Border League on the 2nd board. I should have exchanged on g6 which was my idea before authomatically taking on f6. I missed his move taking on f5 with the Bishop. At the end I am slightly worse ( minust 0,35 for Black ) because he will be a pawn up ( although I have some counterplay for it but his king is quite safe ). He offered me a draw which I rejected after 14...Rb8 but 7 moves after I had to offer it. This is increadible, when I do one superficial move my opponents like today retired English IM age 62 ( who was at his time maybe even GM strength but recently had a cancer which he was cured off ) immediately punishes me with taking on f5 with the Bishop and when Carlsen does much bigger blunder than me nothing happens, Anand and others do not punish him at all. I mean I am playing in middle class tournaments and my every inaccuracy is punished by 2300-2350 players and top level players of elo 2750 do no punish anything which showed that game Carlsen-Anand when Carlsen played the silly Kd2?? How to explain this I do not know, maybe I play in the wrong country ( in England there is so huge culture in chess that there 2300 elo players have got the knowledge like 2500 players in the former Yugoslavia ). Anyway here is the game: [Event Camberley ( GuildfordA-SandhurstA )] [Site ?] [Date 2014.11.19] [Round 3] [White Lalic, Bogdan] [Black Povah, Nigel E] [Result 1/2-1/2] [ECO A67] [WhiteElo 2476] [BlackElo 2310] [PlyCount 41] [EventDate 2014.11.07] 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3.
