Quite the weekend of sports! Say good bye to Sochi and the stories of the Winter Olympics. Armbar..err.. Rousey surprises the UFC world yet again with a win. The only surprise there was that she actually showed us she knows how to fight and win aside from using the armbar. Lets see what happens in December, shall we? Fingers crossed on that becoming an actuality. Daytona 500 was postponed for hours on end, six was it, in total? Until finally the race goes on with Dale Earnhardt, Jr. winning his 2nd Daytona, a very big deal in the NASCAR world. Syracuse and Duke went head to head with quite the ending, in dramatic fashion and pure passion for the sport. Fans and critics are still talking about it. More college basketball to come with March Madness coming at us and surely new household names of college superstars who want that NBA contract. Another day closer to MLB, and the warm weather finally heading our way. Contracts are signed or are being signed, with superstars promising their teams and owners that theyre going to do their damn best to make it a long and successful season. Up and in front superstars such as Mike Trout, the 22 yr old phenom is signing his name, promising to be one of the biggest superstars to keep an eye, as Brett Gardner makes sure no one forgets his name on the east coast in pinstripes; while another superstar, Derek Jeter is walking away on his own terms, a true legend in the sport. Cant forget about the spring 15 rugby season having arrived as well with 7s tourneys coming up worldwide: Maui, Kinsale, Australia @CC7s, just to name a few. Still dont know what that sports all about? Slackers- youre missing out in a very big way. Check out a guy named Sam Burgess or a Carl Isles. Both superstars and both great faces among so many who are helping to bring this sport to the mainstream media. Cant forget about all the bodybuilding fans!! The Aaaaarnold is literally around the corner, as in *three* days away. Whos ready to see the top stars of the fitness and bodybuilding world own the stage and win one of the top shows of the year? Its going to be an entertaining show to say the least. Years of dedication, desire, discipline and sacrifice are all put on display. The only questions that need to be asked on practically a daily basis: what channel, what time, what day, which sport... hope the gym gets the channel.
