Quote: "It’s a sign skeptics are winning. A few years ago the term “skeptic” had been turned into an insult. People would write to me and implore me to call myself a realist. (I wasn’t having a bar of that). Now, all kinds of wannabees are pretending they are skeptics even as they swallow and repeat the establishment lines ad infinitum." Yup. Man made global warming was a fraud. Even the function of atmospheric CO2 was seen wrongly. The little bit of effect it has is to increase solar reflectivity in the thermosphere layer a bit and is a cooling effect. The water vapor is the climate moderator godzilla, and overall, the climate is driven by the sun with some modulation by cosmic rays that create clouds, and some modulation by the volcanic activity that heats about 3 million sub oceanic sites, eventually driving more atmospheric water vapor, and there is modulation from increases to atmospheric solar reflectivity that occur from products of the volcanic surface activity. Cycles in the ocean waters and the atmospheric streams then react, to move things around a bit and create local, even fairly large geographic scale climate trend changes. This winter if the jet stream repeats that "mini ice age location" dip further south, the UK and Europe could suffer. Piers Corbyn was predicting it. On the primary global scale the players are usually the sun and the cosmic rays. Developments in math have come from some science heavy weights to show that the sun reacts cyclically to planetary alignment patterns, especially to the particular positioning of the larger planets. It sounds strange, as if it was astrology, but it has to do with planetary pull creating angular momentum changes for the sun. Geoff Sharp has a great site about it. Some of the graphs remind me of the cam timing guide I once used while modifying a Chevy short block. When Saturn is positioned just right the sun gets lugged down or something.
