There are levels of love and depths of love. Certain levels are obviously not appropriate in certain circumstances, which is why we reserve that deep place for just one or perhaps a few in your life. There is great joy when you step beyond your know boundaries around love. And I want you to do that in a very safe, conscious, and constructive way. Flowing into the energy of another and learning how to merge in a way that is meaningful and expansive is what everyone is looking for. Some of us find that depth through art or music, dancing or writing. But there is an enormous intimacy when you actually do that with another human being. That is a unique process. That is fulfilling in ways that until you have experienced it will not make any sense. I remember a teacher of mine looked at me and told me that I had not yet in this lifetime learned how to surrender or merge with another. I thought he was kidding. I was a powerful dancer, a poet, artist, singer, writer, etc. I believed that I had gone deep into the emotional meaning of life but he was right. I did not know how to merge and connect in a vulnerable way with another. I knew how to be strong but I was afraid of my vulnerability and showing my sacred and wounded parts. In my reality it was not good to let others know your weaknesses because then someone could take advantage of them. Eventually you realize that your greatest strength is from being transparent. Your greatest gift is to show that vulnerability to others in a way that is honoring, authentic, and accepting. That gives others the courage then to show you their sensitive heart also. It is more powerful with a mate that lives and loves you. They can tell when you are off. They can feel that there is something wrong often before you know. They can guide you by loving you in those moments to reveal that hidden thing that is causing the discomfort. And when you reveal it to them, the love between the two of you expands and heals that pain with grace and understanding. Love is worth the risk. It is worth getting your heart broken. It is worth being rejected again and again. Because egos have to be broken down to show the true heart within. Take the risk.
