She doesn’t mention the man’s name, and she might not even know who he was, but her husband was given some of Brother Branham’s material by a man in a second-hand store and it changed their lives. Here is her testimony: Greetings to my brothers and sisters in Christ. I have a testimony upon my heart. I pray it is a blessing to you. My husband and I had our eyes anointed with salve at the same time. We were living in a very small cabin on a hill. No electricity, no running water; we were basically stripped of all the worldly things. We were considered very poor. My husband went to a little free clothing bank to hunt our children some winter clothes. We had three small boys. While he was in this store, a man approached him and started talking about a prophet he called William Branham. He gave my husband the books, The Seven Church Ages and The Seven Seals, and a few cassette tapes. My husband came home and was telling me about this man. So late that evening, after getting the boys to bed, I sat down with my oil lamp and started reading The Seven Church Ages. As I read, the prophet was talking about the serpent seed. It was so plain and revealing to me that I looked at my husband and I said, “This is no man speaking. This is God because no man could know this.” From that day forward we hungered for more of this Word, and we also realized the importance of getting this Word out because of how the Lord showed us who we were. He has more out there to do the same to. That was in 1980 and believe me, I have so many things to tell, how the Lord has been there every day of our lives… My husband went to be with all the saints that have went on, on January 27, 2014. I can only imagine the joy he had meeting Brother Branham and all the saints. It makes my heart filled with joy. The last two things he said to me before he went was, “I love you with all my heart,” and, “Make sure you keep my headphones on (my head) until I’m gone on ‘cause that’s what I want to hear: my Lord speaking to me thru his prophet.” I miss him a lot, but I know I will see him again one day. I pray this is a blessing to all God’s people. We are a blessed people to know that our Lord saved us before the foundation of the world. And we know that Satan knows this too.
