Quoting Maha Ziyadeh ,originally from the Palestinian displaced village Sarris Today I forgave my grandparents. Today i excused my ancestors. Today i forgave you as i happen to realize that our hands are tied. I am a refugee who continuously reproached you for leaving the attic, the old family house... for leaving the grape vines... the fig and olive trees ... the wheat fields and meadows. Today i lived your Nakba... your displacemnt... i saw your martyrs lying on the sidewalks after 66 years i now live the ancestors Nakba again... Today under the sight of media, journalist and the whole world i lived the Nakba again. Today i saw my people slaughtered, wipped out. Today i witnessed genocide. Today i saw houses getting leveled on top of your heads Today i re-lived your fear for your children. Today i forgave you... #GazaUnderAttack #PeopleNotTargets #endCollectivePunishment #MyNameIsPalestine #Genocide #Gaza #nakba
