In fact, he is trying to escape from the mess he has created in Goa; that is the general feeling. Law and order is pathetic; rapes and murdres unsolved. Several scams in Goa. No regional plan 2021; land being doled out to land sharks left, right and center. Instead of promised zero tolerance to corruption, there is hundred percent tolerance to corruption. Goas debt increased from Rs. 4000 crores to more than Rs. 10,000 crores. Goan treasury empty. U-turn on casinoes. While in opposition, Parrikar was part of the agitation against casinoes; now he is for casinoes. Mopa airport --- was not on the manifesto. It is a huge scam which he is trying to push. This could well be his waterloo.
