Quranic Duas to Recite during Labour/ Childbirth u will be amazed how these verses work subhaan Allah! A: La ilaha illa Anta subhanaka inni kunti minadh dhaalimeen- Keep reciting this constantly during contractions it will help u dilate faster in sha Allah لا إلهَ إلا أنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّالِمِيْنَ Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: “The supplication of my brother Dhun Nun (Yunus, peace be upon him), who called on Allah while in the whale’s belly: ‘There is no deity but You. Glory be to You! Verily, I have been among the wrongdoers’ (Quran 21:87) – no Muslim person says it, for any situation whatsoever, except that Allah Most High answers his call.” [Tirmidhi] B: First 5 verses of Surah Al Inshiqaq: 1. Idhas-samaaa un shaqqat (When the sky has split [open] 2. Wa adhinat li rabihaa wa huqqat- And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] 3. Wa idhal ardu muddat- And when the earth is stretched forth, 4. Wa alqat maa feeha wa ta khallat- And has cast out all that was in it and became empty, 5. wa adhinat li rabihaa wa huqqat- And has respondedto its Lord and was obligated [to do so] These 5 verses talk about the sky opening up on Judgement Day & the pregnant earth being stretched forth completely & spitting out its burden ie its contents the words in verse 3 muddat and takhallat in verse 4 also refer to a pregnant woman who gives birth to her child & empties her womb. During intensity of contractions keep repeating verses 3, 4 and 5 constantly. C: Surah Al Abasa verse 19 and 20: Min nutfatu khalaqahu faqaddara- Of a sperm‑drop He created him, then molded him in due proportions;” Thummas sabeela yas-sara- Then He made the way easy for him- keep repeating this to ease each contraction D: Surah Az Zalzalah first 3 verses: Idhaa zulzilatil arddu zilzaalaha- When the earth shakes violently (as it should), a terrible shakening. Wa akhrajatil ardu athqalaha- And the Earth will discharge her burden. These verses can also be recited on water & wiped over the womans stomach, its better for the woman to recite these verses herself during labour.
