Quyanaa to everyone who came to the artists reception for our new Caribou Skin Parka debut this weekend. This project was an important undertaking for the Alutiiq community, for Alaska Native arts, and for the Alutiiq Museum. Major funding for this two-year project was provided through a grant to Koniag, Inc. from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
