R.I.P Andrae Crouch Many people dont know that I spent 12 years working in the Christian Music industrys R Im a gospel music fanatic. Back in 1997 I was in Nashville for a music conference and I walked in to my hotel lobby and I heard this angelic voice singing Jesus is the answer I knew it was Andrae Crouch so I walked over and he was surrounded by a bunch of other singers and people who were there for the conference and had decided in his words To just sit at the piano and praise God so I grabbed a chair and got as close as I could as we all joined him for what was one if the most spiritual moments Ive ever experienced. After a few minutes he finished and I humbly asked if we could take a picture together and thanked him. I am still a huge fan and am sad to hear of his passing but am reminded of Andraes song in which he sang Soon & very soon Im going to see the king tonight he is there in Heaven and I bet hes leading the choir.
