R.I.P. Mr Rice. One of the most memorable teachers! He handed me a can of tuna from his desk to use as a bathroom pass. We would walk into class and there would be chicken scratch covering every piece of blackboard. We had to sit in silence and copy it twice in our marble notebooks. He told great stories. He modeled healthy living and was a solid individual. I think of him often. I am honored to have been taught by and worked with such a great man.
