R.I.P we will ever forget this terror attack just 1 year ago today September 11th 2012, Benghazi Libya- The US embassy at Benghazi Libya was attacked in response to a YouTube video mocking Muhamed. The Benghazi consulate came under attack, US ambassador Christopher Stevens was killed and his assistant Sean Smith was also killed. Retired Navy SEALs, Tyrone Woods disobeyed a direct order and went to the embassy to search for the ambassador. Unaware to them, Christopher Stevens was take to a nearby hospital by bystanders who were unaware of the attack. Unable to find the ambassador, the SEAL took the body of Sean Smith and headed to a secret CIA annex where approximately 30 survivors are waiting to be evacuated to safety. Later in the night, the annex came under attack but the CIA defense was able to hold off its attackers until 5:00am when American reinforcements arrived. With the reinforcements was Woods friend, Glen Doherty. Soon after arriving at the annex it came under fire again and the combined CIA/Reinforcements took defensive positions around the annex. Doherty went on top of the annex where he found his Woods and 2 other CIA agents. Woods & Doherty embraced and as woods turned around to man his machine gun when a mortar fell 50 yards away wounding him. Doherty attempted to mount the same machine gun a mortar fell directly on him and killed him instantly. The other agents on the roof took the wounded Woods to safety where he later died. Help was requested, but Obama deemed it too dangerous and left 4 Americans to die, one CIA agent had a laser target held on the attackers waiting for an airstrike but it never came. Still to this day, no justice has been served for Benghazi and it is up to us to remember these 4 brave men, heroes, patriots. RIP.
