From: Friedrich Bokern Sent: Saturday, March 29, 2014 9:28 PM Subject: [R&R Syria] Call for Applications: Ramadan Volunteers 2014 Dear Friends, Just a short reminder that the call for applications for this year’s special summer programme is open and that we are accepting applications for the first selection round until midnight this Monday. Fortunately, we could profit from the pioneer experience of the volunteers in 2013. This is an opportunity to thank them again for their relentless help and enthusiasm! They laid the foundation for our work in the North of Lebanon. It would be great if many of last year’s volunteers could come again this year. That’s why I put those in copy who have not yet become members of R&R Syria. But also for all the others: in the limit of available places, we will do the best to accommodate every R&R member. However, selection will be strictly based on compete nce and motivation. Aliya, our local staff members and I will establish a first short-list until mid-April. If you are motivated of if you know others who might be willing to join, please have a look at the volunteer section of our website and please submit asap the application form and a short CV: reliefandreconciliation.org/volunteer-with-us.html.
