RAILA ONDINGA TO GIFT LANGATA PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS FOR EMBARRASSING UHURU/RUTO IN-FRONT OF WORLD MEDIA Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader, Raila Odinga, is planning to visit Langata Road Primary School to congratulate pupils who were tear-gassed on Monday as they demonstrated against grabbing of their playground. Raila, who is currently in India for a series of business meeting with senior officials from the Indian government, is expected to return to the country over the weekend and he is expected to lead an army of CORD lieutenants in visiting the students. “Those kids are wonderful. For the first time, we witnessed our children express dissatisfaction and impatience with the continued looting of public resources,” Raila said in a statement he sent to the CORD secretariat. He said Monday‘s event is an indication that even school children are tired of the Jubilee Government over mega corruption, land grabbing and insecurity. The indefatigable CORD leader also urged his supporters to remain calm and know that this country will be soon led by leaders who respect the rule of law and the constitution. Among the leaders accompanying the “Father of democracy in Kenya” to India is business consultant Eliud Owalo, Kilifi Governor, Amason Kingi, and his Kwale counterpart, Sammy Mvurya.
