RAILA’s CORD insist KAJWANG did not die naturally - Was poisoned as they produce evidence Wednesday November 19, 2014 - The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) has continued to put pressure on the Government to inquire into the mysterious death of Homa Bay Senator, Otieno Kajwang, who reportedly suffered a fatal heart attack at The Mater Hospital while undergoing treatment on Tuesday. CORD leaders led by Gwasi MP, John Mbadi, called for an independent team of pathologists to carry out a post-mortem on late Senator. The MP spoke as ODM blogger, Robert Alai Onyango, claimed that he has spoken with a senior doctor, who cemented his believe that Kajwang died of poisoning. Alai said through social media that he suspected foul play in the death of the CORD politician saying he was poisoned either at the Parliament Bar or at his house. This is what Alai posted. “Some senior Doctor has just told me that someone bleeds in death because he/ she swallowed something which interferes with clotting of blood. Otieno Kajwang did not die of heart attack. He was poisoned. We should investigate who poisoned him,” He also connected the murder to the ongoing ICC cases saying Busia Senator, Amos Wako, Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula, and Kilifi Governor, Amason Kingi, are the only ones remaining from the Cabinet Sub-Committee on ICC formed in 2010. Alai said other members of the Cabinet Sub- Committee have died in mysterious circumstances. He gave examples of late Prof Saitoti, late Ndhiwa MP, Orwa Ojode, and former Makueni Senator, Mutula Kilonzo.
