RAISE THE FALLEN TABERNACLE A tabernacle is a place of fellowship - TopicsExpress

RAISE THE FALLEN TABERNACLE A tabernacle is a place of fellowship between God and man. It is a place of spiritual fellowship and divine presence. The Bible speaks about ‘The tabernacle of David.’ This is of spiritual significance for its symbolic representations: - It was the place of habitation of the ark of the LORD, which is a symbol of God’s presence. “And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD” (2 Samuel 6:17). - It is also a place of acceptable burnt offerings and peace offerings (spiritual sacrifices). - And it is a place where righteousness is birth; “And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness” (Isaiah 16:5). But suddenly the tabernacle fell down; “The tabernacle of David, which is fallen down” (Acts 15:16; Amos 9:11). It was a departure of God’s presence; an extinguishing of fire, passion and zeal, and the demise of the heart and pursuit of righteousness. This is characterized by reduced or no more time for God, prayers, etc. That is the time praying becomes a burden and serving God becomes stressful. The tabernacle had fallen! This is the birthplace of lukewarmness. But God is willing to raise the fallen; “After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up” (Acts 15:16). Wherever your spiritual life has gone on low and the fire out, make yourself available for God again and let Him spark off revival in your life. To be revived is to be rapture-ready. Revival fire and power is burning across, don’t be left out. Prayer: LORD, raise every fallen tabernacle in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen. Have a blessed day and enjoy God’s rich grace. ~Dr. Bukola Williams
