RAISING CHILDREN - There are 3 ways to raise kids and only 1 of them is correct. The wrong ways are: 1. Dictatorship - The child must obey his parent with pin point accuracy. For example, the parent want the child to do exactly what he or she wants and when he or she wants. 2. Total Freedom - Very few rules are set. The child is free to do almost anything he or she wants. Children want rules and this is a horrible way to raise a child. The right way to raise your child: 3. Democracy - Rules are set in the house and the child must follow them but there is enough wiggle room for the child to make his or her own decisions. For example, the child must do homework but he or she can do it when they get home from school, after dinner, or before they go to bed. The child makes his or her own decisions within a larger boundary of rules. Its all about the middle ground. Mix rules with some freedom and you will raise great children.
