Civilization was initially the relatively permanent co-habitation or co-existence of people belonging to different families and tribes not related to each other by blood, within the limited confines of a city, where they had come together to overcome the limitations and deficiencies of seasonal trade fares organized for the purpose of mutually profitable exchange of excess goods and necessary services that a group of people had on offer. That naturally needed a mutually understood and accepted culture, only which could ensure safety of life and property, by overcoming and totally eliminating mutual suspicion and fear of each other. A culture, as opposed to nature, is essentially a set of mostly unwritten but clearly understood rules, norms, and modes of individual and social, mutually acceptable behaviour that serve as the foundation of a particular civilization and makes its appearance and development possible. A culture is the very soul and spirit of a civilization. You cannot play a formalized, well thought out, structured game with more than one set of rules applicable at the same time, can you? Players cannot arbitrarily mix and interpret the rules of the game they are playing at the moment without causing absolute chaos, can they? Different games are played with different rules. No game is better or higher than any other, as long as the players enjoy playing the game and consider it worth their time and effort. Different civilizations are differentiated by different kinds of cultural norms. No civilization or culture is better, higher or nobler than any other, as long as it preserves and promotes a peaceful coexistence of its members with dignity and a sense of justice in everything they find permissible by its culture. Multiculturalism Is Madness. Multiple views on every issue under heaven in one and the same mind at the same time would render thinking impossible and destroy that mind and the very life itself.
