RAKSHA BANDHAN ----- A festival of Love, affection and bonding for all brothers and sisters..... The most Respected festival.... Personally I feel,, there are different feelings in diff age group for MALES... * ---- Age between 5 and 15,,,,, All boys are competing with each other,,, to have maximum Rakhi tied up around their forearm,,,,,Not forgetting a single sister and ask all girls of their colony also to tie rakhi on their hand... Many a times getting extra rakhi kept at home, getting Rakhi of elder brothers, sometimes buying on their own,,,, counting again and again,,, Maximum Rakhi around forearm,,,and next day proudly telling all friends,, how much rakhi they had.... What a feeling.... Seena Chaura..... SENSE of ACHIEVEMENT * ----- Next age between 16 to 45 yrs,,,,,,, Specially college boys in their late teens or early twenties..... They have all the excuse in the world of not going out of house or hostel on day of rakshabandhan,,,,, except for meeting their OWN BLOOD RELATED SISTERS..... Never went around girls hostel,,,, Always thinking,,,, that some girl can tie rakhi..... Minimum Rakhi..... Next day..... ah ha... what a relief.... No NEW sister for one year at least... SENSE of GUILT * ----- Last is people above 45 yrs.... Start considering all females,, except for their OWN WIFE,,,, as their sister,,,, this is more openly said in public places.... This feeling goes on increasing as age advances.... This becomes maximum , when the end of life is approaching....SENSE of INSECURITY...... *There are exceptions... and exceptions always prove the rule..... Not trying to hurt sentiments of any..... Happy Rakshabandhan...
