RAMADHAN COUNTDOWN STARTS... You have 10 days left to possibly change the rest of your life, in this world and the next. Here are some tips to help you do that in the last blessed days of Ramadan in a logical order: 1) Take 10 minutes to reflect on what you truly want to ask from Allah and make a dua list. Dont get caught up in your own story, ask for what matters most and for as much as you can. 2) Set out what you want to achieve in the last 10 days, set yourself some goals, write them down and act on them. Also write down what you want to achieve when Ramadan is over. 3) Complete all tasks beforehand: This way, we are free to worship during the 10 nights without being distracted by worldly tasks. If Possible: 4) Remain in I’tikaf: The best way of catching the blessed night is to remain in I’tikaf, which both men and women can do. If you can’t manage 10 nights then do as many as you can! If not possible: 5) Worship throughout all the 10 nights in the house and create a positive and peaceful atmosphere: As Ramadan can be 29 or 30 days Laylat al-Qadr can be any of the last 10 nights in Ramadan. 6) Best dua of the last 10 nights: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-’afwa, fa’fu ‘anni (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).” [At Tirmidhi] 7) Sleep lightly and do not over-rest. Once we become complacent we will lose our momentum. Keep going and do not be weak. Stay strong InshaAllah. 8) Do not waste your time preparing extravagantly for Eid.
