RAMADHAN SEMINAR FOR ‘SHURA YA MAIMAMU’ Approximately 71 Imams and Khateebs of the Masajid of Dodoma, Tanzania, assembled at Dar-ul-Muslimeen Education Center to discuss various pertinent issues on Sunday 21st July 2013. Among the agendas discussed were: 1) The importance and method of Da’wah work during the month of Holy Ramadhan –By Sheikh Abdinnasir Juma. 2) The responsibilities of the different sub-committees of the Masajid – By Ustadh Lucas Mohamed. 3) The draft proposal of the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania and its impact on Muslims – By Ibrahim Shineni (an advocate by profession). All the three papers were well received and a very fruitful debate followed after every presentation. It was resolved that another such seminar to be held again if possible in this month of Ramadhan. At the end, copies of Holy Quran and Iftar food packets were distributed to all the participants.
