RANDOM THOUGHT Sometimes people will pat you on the back with a prickly little thorn. This is so you wont realize that they are stabbing you, and really dont mean you any good. You felt the prick, but it didnt hurt bad enough to make you realize what happened, so you allow them to stay in your life, not knowing that they are slowly draining the life out of you. I said that to say this: Be weary of those who constantly rejoice over the joy in your life, but never seem to have any joy in their own lives. Those who want to always relic in what you have going on should be shunned. If you never have an AHA!!! moment of your own, why in the hell are you so overjoyed that I keep being blessed. Dont be so quick to accept praise from naysayers. Sometimes people praise you out loud, but curse you in their hearts. That person who tells you it cant be done, but when you do it, they are the first ones to congratulate you, watch them. Im just a firm believer in the phrase I dont look like what Ive been through. If you look like what youre going through, and always saying you gonna keep me in your prayers, I have one word for you....DONT. Everybody does not need to know your struggle. They cant handle the story of your life and how He brought you through. Those folks who are down in the gutter will try to pray you down to where they are, if youre not careful. Just be mindful of the people you surround yourself with.
