***RANT ON A PET HATE OF MINE*** Ok Im sure everyone that works/has worked in a bar can relate to this and if youre guilty of the following please get it sorted out... STRING ORDERING, whats wrong with giving me your order in one go, I can then prepare drinks while waiting for others. Take one upper class, English (not relevant but paints a picture) gentleman today, he proceeded to order 5 pints of carling individually, each time I poured one I would ask is there anything else? He would then, stand smugly knowing he was now annoying me and simply reply with yes this gentleman then continued to order a pint of bud, a strongbow, 2 vodka cokes, 3 tequilas (All individually!!) and a pear kopparberg. For the sake of the sanity of barman and barmaids everywhere, PLEASE STOP STRING ORDERING, the temptation to throw you out of the pub using your face to open the door on the way out is becoming a little to enticing. Thank you.
