RANT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So Im sorry to say this, but the human race is destined to die in the foreseeable future. Why? Simple! Were to FRACKEN STUPID to live. And it takes some nasty virus to show just how stupid we can be. BDN and other news outlets have been reporting about a nurse in NJ being released from a forced quarantine early and allowed to travel to Maine to stay, and will be in a self imposed quarantine while here. The comments left on this story, both on other news outlets and BDN are scary as hell. There are a LOT of fricken stupid azz people out there that should NEVER be allowed to vote or reproduce EVER. The general attitude is that if this nurse is willing to go to a country the has a virus rampaging through their people, then they should have to be locked up for close to a month when they get home whether they show signs of the virus or not. So pretty much everyone seems to be saying is if you try to help sick people outside this Country, then she should be locked up as punishment for it. Because face it, 21 days locked up in a airtight tent outside a hospital with nothing to do or read, and just a port-a-potty for a bathroom, and being watched by tons of strangers 24/7 is a punishment we dont even give to prisoners in this country. They at least get to shower, watch TV, read books, and get to step outside for an hour a day. Now the fun part to show how stupid the human race is getting. Who do we listen to to get our information about this virus, and how deadly and nasty it is? Do we listen to the doctors and scientists? Nope! We listen to the evening news and politicians. Why? Because we all know that politicians are there to serve the people, and they NEVER lie about anything important. And of course listing to our favorite news channel gets us all the true facts, because news media NEVER distorts the facts in the slightest. Both groups have been yelling about how nasty this virus is, and it is a deadly one that shouldnt be taken lightly. BUT its not dangerous as they make out......or at least in the way they make it out to be. Scientists and doctors have said over and over and over again until they are blue in the face, that Ebola is spread by BODY FLUID CONTACT and IS NOT an air born virus. And for those of you who have trouble understanding that, lets put it in simple fracken words for ya. To get Ebola from someone who has it, they have to spit on you, sneeze on you, p*ss on you, and shzt on you. Yeah I see it now Oh man I caught Ebola on the subway on the ride home. How did that happen honey? I was just sitting there and some guy came over, shzt on me, and then left. So needless to say, standing in a building that has a Ebola victim in it, or living in a town that has a victim in it ISNT going to case you to catch this fracken virus. Not unless you like being spit, p*ssed, or shzt on by strangers. But Daniel what about sneezing. People can sneeze on you in public. Yup they can, and yes you can catch Ebola from them, also the common cold, the flu, and just about every other virus known to man. But then most of the common viruses that you can catch that way, you can also catch by just breathing the same air as a sick person. But of course you NEVER hear about anyone being thrown into a forced quarantine by the Governor of any State because they have the common flu. Which if you didnt know kills between 3000-49000 people per year. Good thing thats not as deadly as Ebola huh? So folks instead of listening to politicians who are running for office this year, and trying their damnedest to show how theyre there for the public and trying to keep them safe, why dont you listen to the people who actually KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT! And stop punishing healthcare workers with tantamount to 21 day jail time for trying to help others, and end a fracken virus that is wiping out generations. If we punish any doctors and nurses who go to the aid of these people, then we have to put EVERY SINGLE healthcare worker into fake prison that comes into contact, treats, and is in any way connected to ANY U.S. citizen that is treated for Ebola in this Country. Wonder how many people well have left running the hospitals once we start doing that? :/ Time to stand up and start using our brains folks, and not be controlled by our fears and the gilded words of some slick politician trying to get votes, or some news outlet looking for ratings. Trust our scientists and doctors for the information we need. Otherwise they might just say screw all of you and stop helping, and then well be screwed.
