RANT !!! There are just some venues you love and some you hate. Some because of a bad get in, some because of cramped conditions and some that just seem to do everything in their power to make life difficult and make you feel unwelcome. The first time I played one particular venue, having introduced myself, the owner took great pride in telling me she didnt like bands or musicians. Then proceeded to show me the allocated matchbox sized space for the 5 piece band. At the end of the night, they turned off all the lights 15 mins after last song and forced us out into the rain, still not completely packed up and locked the doors. My most recent visit seemed hopefull that relations had improved..... nah ... buffet? Normally I wouldnt touch it but the band were told they couldnt have any. Having just played for over 3 hours they blasted the room with dance music for the remaining 10 punters. ..... now my ears are sore and really ringing ... Pishing with rain (again) we decided to take a shorter route out but I was stopped ... allegedly incase they needed to call a fire engine and that was its route in..... ffs.... Why the feck do I do it .......? !!!!!
