RANT time...meh... Im gonna pass on this one, casting is well, another reboot with tons of killit if we can potential I would avoid the origin take on it, they always take far too much time one one of the simpler origins. show all the iconic origin stuff and origin in the opening title spread, have the retro flash back showing more of the iconics that fans crave, from bad costumes to odd crossovers allowing it to be a tongue in cheek easter egg fest. some of the fluff and filler would feel like a series of Marvel One shots tied together. have it start after they have been a team and have the cohesion play up the family format the comic strived on. I would hope for a reboot adaptation leading to a climax around the Death of Human Torch and Future Foundation arc. While not a popular story arc that was quickly dismissed it would leave the door open for more. I would also emphasize the age difference by casting a noticeably older actor as Reed, someone like Hugh Laurie, make Thing Ray Stevenson so he can round out another Marvel character.
