"RAPE IS NOT THE END OF LIFE. WANT TO RETURN TO WORK". Pearls of wisdom from the mouth of the recent Bombay rape victim. I am really astounded by the tenacity of her resolve and salute the spirit of this young LADY, badly bruised by a brutal ignominy, capable of succumbing to the normal instinct of such victims, to resort to the self inflicted punishment of suicide, for which she was in no way responsible. Poor LADY, a victim of circumstances very much beyond her control, draws tears from my eyes greatly generates sympathy from the bottom of my heart, already bleeding for the injustice meted out to her and others like her. As a Journalist, taking the first faltering step into the noble profession of journalism, she has the invulnerable capacity to relentlessly pursue this malady of the body politic, to its very root and pluck it out from the characters of charlatans, indulging mindlessly in acts of such instinctive animal behaviour. She needs the moral support of the entire Nation in her mission to succeed in her cherished goal. She has found a niche in the hearts of every human being, left with traces of the milk of human kindness.
