RASICM AT WORK. Part 1; My mother is a nurse, she has been a nurse for about ten years. A Philippina RN was applying for a General Manager role, so my mother started a petition to get people to sign the petition so that the RN nurse gets promoted for the General Manager job. Meanwhile, another RN (will call her Cindy, white Australian) said to another white Australian not to roster any more dark skin people. The roster lady (admin) continue to roster dark skin nurses, she has now been fired. Furthermore, the other RN up for promotion did not get the promotion. (will call her Linda) Linda gave the company a great auditing result, it was close to perfect, she also improve productivity by creating a software system that allows nurses to gather and look are residents history. That way the residents gets the best service and easy access for other needs. Even though with her great records they promoted someone else that is white Australian. Her made up name is Josephine, she work for the branch before but has not work there in years. Since she has come back to the branch she has been bullying my mother. Yelling at her in front of other staff, because she found out about the petition. To top it off someone falsly accuse my mother Eunise Undag of hitting a resident. In short within a couple of weeks my mother was clear. They wanted her to work the next day after my mother was clear. It has been almost two months now and mother refuse to go back in that sort of hostile environment unless the company wipe my mother personal file, and that she does not work under Josephine. Additionally my mother loss of income is fully reimburst to her, and a formal letter of announcement to apologies to my mother because she has been defame. The company refuses these demands even though mother has been iquited. Last Tuesday workerscom rang us and said that we find it really strange that the next day after my mother was iquited she claims to be sick; suffering from anxiety and depression. Why did it take that long to go to the doctors? Stated in the medical report. I responded that my mother went to the docters the month before in fact in that weekend she went and so a docter, witin the fews days she was falsely accuse. I also further infer that it was included in the medical reports. Workcover cliams that they do not have this report. Yesterday Tuesday mother and I went to the docter, explain the situation. The doctor rang workcover, and now saying the opposite on what was said last Tuesday on the phone. Workcover said to my mothers doctor that they will ring us back by the afternoon to let us now the progress of the claim. We have not heard anything from them since.
