RAT SITTING! Hi All, I hope you don’t mind me posting here, but I was just wondering if any of you might be able to help me out: Basically, I am staying with relatives over Christmas, and unfortunately cant take my two lovely rats with me... I am looking for someone in the Bristol area to look after them for the Christmas period- maximum 18th Dec-3rd Jan (but I might come back earlier). I was wondering if any of you would be able to have them, or know of someone who could? Either you would have them in your home (I’ll bring them in their cage- approx. 70 x 48 x 78cm), or maybe pop into my flat in Clifton once or twice a day to feed them, and let them out to play for a bit (ideally they’d be in someone’s home, as they’re quite sociable little critters, and I think they probably like having people around!) I would be extremely grateful, Ive looked into small animal boarding, which Ill go for if I cant find anyone, so Id be happy to pay whoever looks after them - Ill obviously give you all the rat food/bedding/toys needed to keep them going. Ideally Id like someone who would be willing to let them out of their cage and play with them every now and then, as they are very active and love to explore! I know it seems a bit irresponsible (and possibly a bit presumptuous) to ask a group of people I don’t know that well, most of whom Ive never met, but I think if you’re going to trust a random person with your pets, you’re probably best going for a vegan! ;)
