RATS tabled at the TALONS festival today sponsored by The Hungry Owl Project--lots of great groups there (Native Bird Connections, the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma, Golden Gate Raptor Observatory, the River Otter Ecology Project, to name just a few) and some gorgeous birds of prey (non-releasable educational birds, including a leucistic red-tailed hawk!, screech owl, Northern pygmy owl (smaller than your hand!), barn owl, great horned owl, and even a spectacled owl (native to Brazil, Paraguay, and northeast Argentina)--what a treat, all of them!
