RAWANDAN REFORM: Friends, out of my curiosity, I was just going through the development of a small African Nation - RAWANDA. With is recent 1994 history of massive genocide (नरसंहार), today it is rated to be Top Ten Global Reformers. They have been able to alleviate poverty at a dramatically faster rate. Its interesting to learn how a country with a recent history of mass killings could forget the past and leap to a strong economy. Lets see the reasons for this FAST reform: A series of reforms have been implemented to create a conducive environment for business. Rwanda is also the 9th easiest place to start a business in the world and the 6th most competitive economy in Sub-Saharan Africa according to the 2010 World Economic Forum global Competitiveness Report. These reforms have been made possible by Government of Rwanda’s commitment to a politically stable country with well functioning institutions, rule of law and zero tolerance for corruption.
