RCC DOMINATES SANDHILLS CC TO TAKE OVER FIRST PLACE IN CONFERENCE With a season record crowd of 110 in attendance, the Lady Eagles dominated the Flyers winning the match 3-0 (25-19,25-19, 25-18). Offensively Chante Joyce (Morehead) had 9 kills, Megan Sparks (Rockingham County) 7 kills, Brook Spainhour (West Stokes) 7 kills and Tate Andrews (Rockingham County) had 27 assists. Defensively Rhiannon Walker (McMichael) had 16 digs with Gloria Slayton (Rockingham County) and Lauren Hobbs (Rockingham County) having outstanding nights contributing to the win. With both teams tied for first place in conference coming into last night game the win gives the LADY EAGLES sole possession of first place in the Western Carolina Conference, Region 10 with two conference games left in the season. The victory over Sandhiils CC is the first win versus the FYLERS in RCC volleyball program history.
