RCMP is warning people about a travelling group of men who have been representing themselves as a small paving company. Over the last few months, the suspects have been appearing in communities and going door to door saying they are a paving company that has some left over asphalt from a recent job. They then offer a paving service for a cheaper cost and do a portion of the work, then get the victim to pay a large portion of the agreed price and say they will be back the next day but never return. RCMP believe there are seven victims from Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The main suspect is described as 5″ 8′ tall, 175 lbs, light brown Hair, approx. 50 yrs of age with the first name Pat. Pat and his accomplice speak with an Irish accent. The suspects were last seen travelling in a white Dodge Ram truck which is also believed to be stolen.
