RCMP looking for witnesses regarding damages to a local hotel Just after 6 a.m. Lloydminster RCMP responded to a call from a hotel in the 4600 block of 50 Ave. The hotel had a large object thrown through the front window, narrowly missing an employee. The object then struck numerous items inside smashing and breaking them. RCMP are looking for assistance from the public to identify a suspect. This act of mischief was very close to becoming a serious act of violence, as the object narrowly missed an employee, said Const. Kirzinger. It is hoped that a member of the public witnessed this act and is able to assist the RCMP with the investigation.
