RCMP want to advise drivers that road conditions are very poor on Highway 43 northwest of Hythe resulting in a number of collisions and vehicles leaving the roadway. Please expect delays and be prepared to slow down. Beaverlodge RCMP want to advise those who are traveling in the area of Highway 43, between Range Road 114 and Range Road 121, northwest of Hythe that road conditions are very poor at the present time. RCMP are responding to numerous collisions and vehicles sliding off of the roadway. Although there are no reports of any serious injuries but highway conditions are significantly impacting traffic in the area. Highway maintenance crews have been contacted to work on improving the surface conditions but until this happens police are asking motorists to slow down and to expect delays.
