RCSD Community Action Team We have now entered a new year and as we all begin our 2015 resolutions Sheriff Leon Lott and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department want to remind everyone that we will continue to build unity in the community by working hard everyday to create safer communities and improve the quality of life for ALL citizens. Through community policing strategies and innovative problem-solving techniques we will achieve our mission. One of our most effective community policing strategies is the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Community Action Team. It is the mission of the C.A.T. program to develop long term solutions for areas of Richland County with specific problems. Below is an informational video about the RCSD Community Action Team.
