RE: Gary’s posting of WML with Debbie Reynolds 1964. She appeared on WML as part of the publicity for her latest movie musical, “The Unsinkable Molly Brown,” literally the only musical comedy that starts at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison River and climaxes on the Titanic. For a couple of months in 1963, the films second unit work was the major industry around Montrose, Colorado – the Black Canyon, Ridgway. and in Telluride when it was still a mining ghost town, years before it became an expensive ski resort.
