Taking my inspiration from the ancient English Chancery Court Case of Mylward v. Weldon. I think every Congressman who voted for Obamacare, as well as the President and Vice President, and George Soros who financed Obama’s campaign to get a socialized medicine law passed, should be made to carry the over 1600 pages of the law and the over 10,000 pages of regulations on his hands and knees with it tied to his back, from Washington D.C. to Los Angeles. Preferably in winter in driving cold rain and snow. I am thinking of what I think you would agree is one of the most just decisions ever handed down by a court: the ancient case of Mylward v. Weldon, Chancery Court of England, Reg. Lib A, 1596 fol. 672 (1596), from Corpus Juris Humorus in Brief, p. 55. In this case, attorney Mylward, the son of the plaintiff, filed a “Replication” to a law suit. The judge complained “..the said Replication doth amount to six score sheets of paper and yet all the matter thereof which is pertinent might have been well-contrived in sixteen.” The judge ruled “…his Lordship is of opinion that such an abuse is not in any way to be tolerated—proceeding of a malicious purpose to increase the defendant’s charge and being fraught with much impertinent matter not fit for the court…” “It is therefore ordered that the warden of the Fleet shall take the said Richard Mylward, alias Alexander, into his custody and shall bring him into Westminster Hall on Saturday next about 10 of the clock in the forenoon, and then and there shall cut a hole in the midst of the same engrossed Replication which is delivered unto him for that purpose, and shall put the said Richard’s head through the same hole and so let the said Replication hang about his shoulders and lead the said Richard bareheaded and barefaced round about Westminster Hall, whilst the courts are sitting and shall shew him at the bar of every one of the three Courts within the Hall…”
