RE: Something Borrowed & Wedding Decor in Pearl--DO NOT SHOP THERE!!!!! I am not someone to hold a grudge or try to hurt someone because they hurt me, that is not what this is about. Halee Nicholas helped for 3 days to get Something Borrowed ready for their grand opening. That meant she worked all day and then stopped by after work to help...she didnt get paid nor did she expect to get paid. Thats the type of person Halee is. It was required to be present to win the prizes...NO ONE except Halee stayed at that store from 9-6 to be there for the drawing. Therefore Halee won the honeymoon. Kim posted it all over her business facebook page that Halee had won. When she sent Halee the text that she had decided to give the honeymoon to someone else she had gone back and deleted the posts where Halee had won...and thats OK. We (Halee and I both) have the text messages where she told Halee she had decided to choose someone else. There have been no posts about who the new winner is...however Kims daughter is getting married in May also....coincidence? I dont think so. Kims daughter WASNT there at all for the grand opeing!!! Not to help get ready for grand opening or for the opening at all. I do forgive Kim for what she did to Halee however I am within my right to let ALL OF RANKIN/HINDS/SCOTT counties know what kind of person is running this so called business and what she did to my daughter who trusted her to keep her end of the bargain. There will be a letter sent to the Better Business Bureau as well and I will post that on here too just so people know that its very important for you as a citizen to report wrong doings by companies to prevent anyone else for being taken in by these new businesses. Yall, businesses have to earn your trust too....I try very hard to shop at indepently owned businesses to help support them and my community but if they do not act in the best interest of the consumer I will let that be known too!!!
