Tam- I- Am: Author/Speaker If you know of single parent or blended family that maybe in interested in parenting/child centered events and just plain fun, please share the link and forward the email. We are looking for new members; The group has ice skated together, attended The Children’s Museum, and future events include: Fun Runs, The Strawbery Banke Fairy Festival, Movie Nights and Apple Picking. Tam-I Am’s event is a sample of future educational events that we’ll offer. What is a meet up: A Meetup Group is a local community of people. A Meetup Group hosts Meetups, which are face to face meetings that happen in real life . meetup/Greater-Portland-Maine-Single-Parents-and-Kids-Group/ Cost is free! It is best if folks sign up via the meetup link as it tracks RSVPs and captures contact information. Sample below of a posted event and information provided to members: Author and speaker Tam Veilleux is pleased to talk on the theme of Cooperative Kids and her Childrens book, Mollys Kite, she will talk to the group about how to model goal setting and other supportive parenting behaviors. It’s important that parents not just speak about setting goals to their kids, but they must also demonstrate it through action and behaviors. Tam is offering this session at no charge to members of the Greater Portland Single Parents and Kids Group. Follow-up parents only session will be an optional donation event.
