READ: BROTHERS AND SISTERS Newsfeeds earlier regarding our brother Dr. Bilal Philips posted by some of our brothers and sisters shows anger,hatred, and discontent to the authorities which spreads like a wildfire among Muslims in the country. note (it is the total opposite of what our brother Dr. Bilal Philips intended to propagate among our brothers, where is the SABR?). Please do consider the following points (in answer to those freaking comments and posts): 1.Rapplers survey shows that 22% are dissatisfied to PNoy, roughly 22 million Filipinos. so you are not alone with your stand but those 21,999,999 are not spreading Jihad is a must just because they are dissatisfied (so many form of Jihad that you forgot to do and yet you call for Jihad because Dr. Bilal Philips was being invited by the authorities) 2. Muslim stereotype(media): i would say that the media knows prophet Mohammad s.a.w. hadith more than you my brother/sister. Muslims are one unified ummah like a whole body, the pain of one part is felt by the other parts (phrase:one unified ummah) and so we choose to be addressed as one whole unified MUSLIMS, some of our body parts(muslims) are terrorists and we are all referred as terrorists because you cannot address them as terroristic gall bladder,intestine,hand,feet of MUSLIMS because it signifies individuality. a person convicted of a crime tarnished his/her name not his hand which he used to commit the crime. we take pride on being a singular Muslim so sometimes they look upon us just like as the other. 3. Muslims as threat: we are on the limelight of international criticism because of whats happening in the middle east and I know you are aware of it. so dont blame the government if we are being presumed as a threat because it is mine and your fault also. i choose to study and work comfortably everyday and I forgot my religious obligation to others which lead them to misinterpret the contains of the Qur-An and the teachings of our prophet. they are misguided because we failed to guide them and so we must face the consequences. 4. why they are suspicious to us: we shoudnt be surprised, it was a perennial topic for us. we keep on nagging but we forgot to do the right thing, to show them the best of being a Muslim and the way of Islam. 5. lastly, do not speak ill and blame others with regards to what happen to our brother. it is a will of ALLAH swt., and you will answer for your words. just pray for his safety and let us ask guidance to ALLAH swt.
