READ THIS!!!! please... Facebook has become a forum where there are so many ignorant troublemakers posting false information (which people actually believe), I am hoping all the fun wont soon be completely gone from its use. So much disinformation, misinformation, and downright lies have been distributed about Facebook using the information we post against us that is completely ridiculous. ALMOST EVERY company in the world where you have EVER filled out an application for credit, a job, any type of satisfaction survey, or other document which provides personal information uses your information in exactly the same way in order to provide you with better, more personalized, advertising service instead of bombarding you with all kinds of advertisements which you have no interest in at all. Advertising is the sole reason we have the use of this fun and useful medium to communicate and share ideas and stuff with each other for FREE. That makes advertising a GOOD thing. Second, if you have EVER posted ANYTHING to the internet in ANY way, whether in an email, a picture, or any other type of post, it is a PERMANENT fixture there now. You can remove it from YOUR computer and feel all happy and shit, but you CANNOT remove it from the internet and it will ALWAYS be there (and just as accessible to hackers) until the many storage devices on which that data is kept are completely destroyed beyond repair (which could be until the end of mankind or after). Sorry to those of you who jumped in with both feet without knowing that, but that is just the way computers work. In order to be secure all you have to do is be careful what you allow to be put online. There should have been a law to educate everyone before selling all these connectable devices, but that is history now. Just be careful about you post online and dont be in such a freakin tizzy about this crap all the time. Be happy and be careful. Dont be afraid of this stuff; just use it wisely!!! Just sayin :)
